I had to bake a cake for a family get together and it was cooling on a rack while I fed Owen supper. After he ate I sat him in the floor with some bowls to beat on while I was icing the cake. When I finished I saw Chloe (our dog) licking the floor and I thought, "Oh no! I dropped chocolate cake batter on the floor and she's going to be sick!" As I got closer to clean it up I realized that it was not chocolate cake...it was coming from Baby O's diaper! Then I remembered that we had a struggle to get his diaper on straight since he was trying to sit up and crawl away....and I do seem to recall some grunting in the highchair now that I think about it.
Life Lesson #13: Dogs mouths are NOT clean!
